Artist's Statement

This is one of the very first quilts I made after my first three workshops with Nancy Crow. I was obsessed with stitching lines and then deconstructing them.

Well, it is June and this is my first newsletter of 2025. That basically sums up my year—TOO BUSY to think straight. But I am here now and well, I am going to channel my inner postman and get with it on the delivery of this object of news. 

There are so many things I want to tell you right now. I have been traveling and traveling—Tuscon, Arizona—Ontario, California—Overland Park, Kansas—Phoenix, Arizona—Chico, California—Las Vegas, Nevada—Pacific Grove, California—Agency, Missouri—Overland Park, Kansas—Jacksonville, Sarasota, and Palm Beach, Florida—Downsville, Wisconsin—Overland Park, Kansas—Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and Millersport, Ohio. A full paragraph of locations on the map. It has been great, but it is also wonderful to be home!

I have lots of stories, but for now, I am just going to say hello again, and let you know what’s up in my quilting world.

NEWS & EVENTS

PROMPTOPIA 2025 STARTS NEXT WEEK!
This workshop is a super favorite. It is six months long. We meet twice a month on ZOOM. Each session is recorded and students have access to those recordings for a year. Every month we get a new prompt that is fun and exciting and pushes students into new territory! Each month also features a guest artist who follows along and does the prompt with us. We also have Prompt Parlor chats, Peer Posses (aka small group cohorts) Deep Dive Demos, Lectures, Presentations, Student Consultations, a private Facebook Group & MORE.
