COMMENTS— The light has been amazing. It was really beautiful on Thursday. Of course it is. It is Solstice! I don’t have time to be making new garments, so I am back in that make do phase at least for the summer. I have three skirts and two pairs of shorts. But you know, it really is enough. Sure, I would like to look super fancy every day, but the reality is that we don’t look super fancy every day. In fact, I am still not over the fact that I don’t actually look the same every day. What is up with that?

Wow. I have finally got a system that works for this project! I am 126 days into it, and I am almost caught up. It was a huge set back to realize that I was taking the photo in a bad location for almost three months. That means I have to redo those months. Which is painful but now that I have everything dialed in I just need to keep on keeping on.

COMMENTS
This is the week I figured out that I need to be taking my photos on the ROAD. I realized this on DAY 102. The flipbook I eventually want to make needs to have the same background. I started out with a background that was close to our house and covered in snow. When the snow melted, I realized it was not a back drop that I could use. It is big huge bummer, but once I found the road, I knew that was the location. It is going to be a much better final 365 day composition. What a painful realization.

This week is a re-enactment week. In reality at the the beginning of this week, I was Florida. On the beach of Fort Lauderdale. I am struggling with how to be accurate in my documentation while I travel. But there is also a part of me that wants these things to be a constant—I document the clothing in the order that I wore it and in the exact same location every day. I have my reasons for doing that will be a part of the big TADA if I ever get there.
