COMMENTS—Well, dressing for sunny summer weather is so much easier than selecting garments to wear for icy temperatures or rain and drizzle. I really would like to add a skirt or two to my wardrobe. I only have three and they are getting very boring. I am doing a good job of not falling behind. The pain of going back and documenting weeks and weeks of work in May taught me a very valuable lesson. I am also trying not to be to precious about how I look. Yes. I do select what I consider to be the very best picture for the day, but I am often not happy with it. Documenting your 50th year day in and day out is often painful. I should have done this when I was 30!

COMMENTS
The wild sunshine is making photography difficult. I have had that Lady Skater dress in my closet the whole time, but I am never compelled to wear it. I am not sure why. I made three new garments this week. A knit tunic and tights out of Chalk Line Knit from Marcy Tilton. I also finished another modified Rebecca Taylor t-shirt top out of a great multi-colored print knit. I am trying very hard not to get even a DAY behind in documenting this shit.

It is painful to think that this is the first full week of documentation. For the few of you out there that are actually following along with this project. My intent is to create a stop motion style movie where I turn around in a circle for everyday. Now that the location is solid, you will also be able to see a complete rotation of the earth around the sun as documented by the changing background. It is going to very cool if it works.

COMMENTS
This week is a re-enactment week. In reality at the the beginning of this week, I was Florida. On the beach of Fort Lauderdale. I am struggling with how to be accurate in my documentation while I travel. But there is also a part of me that wants these things to be a constant—I document the clothing in the order that I wore it and in the exact same location every day. I have my reasons for doing that will be a part of the big TADA if I ever get there.

Well, the grey leggings/tights did not last. They did not have enough four stretch, and I blew them out pretty quickly. This is disappointing as I “wasted” the fabric. I am hoping to transform them into something else. This week is the first one where I have had new garments to wear, and that always feels nice. As you can tell, my palette is still very grey.
