COMMENTS
The wild sunshine is making photography difficult. I have had that Lady Skater dress in my closet the whole time, but I am never compelled to wear it. I am not sure why. I made three new garments this week. A knit tunic and tights out of Chalk Line Knit from Marcy Tilton. I also finished another modified Rebecca Taylor t-shirt top out of a great multi-colored print knit. I am trying very hard not to get even a DAY behind in documenting this shit.

COMMENTS
I am surprised in some ways by how long it took me to finally catch up on the documentation of this project. If I had my way, I would sew and sew and sew clothes. Lately, I like to make a new piece and then sew pieces that work with the new piece, so that a complete outfit evolves from the first decision. For example, I make a tunic and then I make the tights to go with it, and they both work with the new scarf I just finished. This is different from the beginning when I was really making things because I did not have them. For example I needed to make pants. Now, I have pants so I can be more creative in my making decisions.

Comments
Lots of repeats especially the half-sleeved Linden Sweatshirt and the self-drafted tights. I would like to find the space in my life to make some additions to my wardrobe. Time is so tight right now, that when I try and think of what I should make, I panic. What if I make the wrong thing out of the wrong fabric? I feel as if there is little room for mistakes right now. I am also very conflicted about wearing that Margo Selby scarf. Is it okay for me to wear store bought scarves when I can make them myself?
