Comments— I have three comments this week. One, Kato, my orange cat, has decided that he is now participating the project. He runs outside with us and immediately works his way into the photo shoot. Two, I fully realize how knowing that I am going to have my picture taken every day has upped the maintenance and does affect what I wear everyday. Three, I feel on top of this project right now and that always feels good.

Comments— I am back in Anchorage, and I did all of my laundery which is essentially everything I have made. I really only have a few true duds that I just won’t wear. There are a few that I wear and think, nope I’m not doing that again, but they are still in my closet. I have only given one piece of clothing away—the denim pajama bottoms which were so uncomfortable. The denim was way too thick for the pattern. The weather has been cool and cloudy which is really just about right for all kinds of clothing.

COMMENTS—Well, dressing for sunny summer weather is so much easier than selecting garments to wear for icy temperatures or rain and drizzle. I really would like to add a skirt or two to my wardrobe. I only have three and they are getting very boring. I am doing a good job of not falling behind. The pain of going back and documenting weeks and weeks of work in May taught me a very valuable lesson. I am also trying not to be to precious about how I look. Yes. I do select what I consider to be the very best picture for the day, but I am often not happy with it. Documenting your 50th year day in and day out is often painful. I should have done this when I was 30!

COMMENTS— The light has been amazing. It was really beautiful on Thursday. Of course it is. It is Solstice! I don’t have time to be making new garments, so I am back in that make do phase at least for the summer. I have three skirts and two pairs of shorts. But you know, it really is enough. Sure, I would like to look super fancy every day, but the reality is that we don’t look super fancy every day. In fact, I am still not over the fact that I don’t actually look the same every day. What is up with that?
